Who simply MUST attend?

Our vision is by working together we can achieve so much more, and this starts the minutes that you join an XLVets practice from University and underpins the Equine Graduate Development Programme.
> The 8 day course includes exciting and innovative core modules designed to achieve excellence in practice, they are compulsory to attend, to help you build a strong and collaborative peer network on the first day of the programme and throughout your career. We encourage graduates to keep in touch in between modules to keep learning.
> To help Graduates develop their skills, confidence and experience even further, the XLVet Graduate Programme offers participants the chance to be mentored throughout their first years in practice.
Graduates who have qualified within the last two years and are working in an XLVets Practice.
What is Different About This Course?
Briefly the course comprises
An 8 day course split into 4 modules for graduates who have qualified within the last two years and are working in an XLVets practice.
Module 1: Survival Skills
> 19th & 20th September 2017
> Trainers: Driverskills, Rosie Allister, Ian Patterson & Liz Mitchell
> Venue: North Yorkshire
> Included: Survival Skills, Thriving in Equine Practice and Practical Equine Pharmacology.
Module 2: Management of the equine emergency patient
> 13th & 14th February 2018
> Trainers: Karl Holliman
> Venue: East Sussex
> Included: Best practice colic management and dealing with other common emergencies
Module 3: Clinical Essentials Part One
>16th & 17th January 2018
> Trainers: Philip Ivens, Nic Harries and Richard Meers
> Venue: Buckinghamshire
> Included: Equine Medicine and An Introduction to Equine Dentistry.
Module 4: Clinical Essentials Part Two
> 21st & 22nd March 2018
> Trainers:Wendy Furness, Chris Lehrbach and Marie Rippingale
> Venue: Derbyshire
> Included: An Introduction to the lameness workup and Best Practice Wound Care.
